Holiday Tales from one of 'our girls'

Well after numerous island and tropical holidays I finally felt I had hit the jackpot with my "evening resort wear".
I had always felt either under or overdressed for that essential 'cocktail overlooking the beach' but this holiday, with a few pieces from Sequins and Sand I got it right!
We stayed at Capella on Lord Howe for 5 nights just after New Year and enjoyed the pre-dinner drinks and gourmet meals every night. I put together 5 outfits for each evening before I left so it was quick and easy after a day at the beach, to head down for dinner. My favourite was the apricot/peach silk Kaftan which I wore with white pants, caught with a leather flower belt and a frangipanni in my hair. The colours were so vibrant I didn't need any jewelery and even on a hot night, it felt so cool and comfortable. Talk about easy to pack! It folded down to nothing and looked great straight out of the suitcase.
I can't wait until my next tropical holiday!
