Here we are in 2008 all new & shiny. A new year to be looked at and pondered on with expectation, hope & desire, wondering what's in store for us.
Well here are a few certains for 2008;
It is a leap year which means women may make marriage proposals .......hmmm! We also have an extra day so make the most of it girls & do something delicious just for you.
It is the Chinese Year of the Rat - apparently we can expect 12 months of plentiful opportunities and prospects not to mention being relatively free of turbulence, (which is great to know especially if you're planning on making some long-term investments, starting new projects, or keeping the home fires burning brightly). It's also a rather fine time to socialise and grab a sumptuous meal or two with friends and family!
According to the UN's website it is their International Year of the Potato – couch or otherwise it doesn't specify!
It will rain on finals day at Wimbledon!
The kaftan is now a fashion classic "It's a no-brainer. When women discover something that's sexy, flattering and functional, they are not going to let it go" according to Hilary Alexander doyenne of all that is fashion in the UK & Europe.
I could go on but I suspect that you are bursting to get a grip of this new year and shape it into your best year ever. Best of luck & I hope that it brings you all that you desire.
Oh...one other thing you can be certain of, Sequins & Sand will be here bringing you more exciting kaftans, beach cover ups, resort wear ...call them what you will, so spread the word.
