What Tankini is Best for a Big Bust? - Cath

Anita McLachlan - 13th June 2014

Hello girls! Welcome to the first Ask Anita post where we answer the questions that we're asked often here at Sequins and Sand. This one is about a Tankini and comes from Cath in NSW.

Q: Cath now lives by the coast and is looking to venture back into the ocean after years of giving it the flick. Understandably, she's a bit nervous and unsure of what style will suit her shape and in particular, flatter her fuller bust.

A: Go the Bow Style tankini from Capriosca Swimwear Cath and here's why:

  • It has a great cup coverage and will handle up to an E with grace and ease (the model shown in the pics is an E cup).
  • The 'sweetheart' neckline is uber flattering for a bigger bust
  • With a built in shelf bra and strong, wide under-bust elastic you will feel secure.
  • The straps are adjustable which means you can bring it in for extra firmness too.
  • Moulded cups helps to ensure a flattering line and smooth bust finish (see the photo below)
  • A higher back also helps with bust support.

Avoid: Triangle shaped options as they won't give you great coverage and support. {Of course, if you're happy to flaunt them...go for it:) }

Thanks Cath!
