These Terms and Conditions basically outline what we are responsible for doing for you and what you are responsible for doing, to make shopping with us, even easier and open from the outset...the way we like to operate.

These Terms and Conditions pertain to the use of www.SequinsandSand.com.au. ("the website") and the purchase of any goods from it. The website is owned and operated by Regina and Sheila Pty Limited.

Please note that by accessing, using or browsing this website you agree to be bound by its terms, conditions, disclaimers and limitations of liability ("Terms of Sale"). Sequins & Sand reserves the right to amend or update such terms, conditions, disclaimers and limitations of liability at any time. We will not be providing notice to you, so please review these regularly. By using the website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms.

ORDERING WITH US

You can purchase online 24 hours a day at www.SequinsandSand.com.au.

You can pay for your purchases using:

  • Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard & American Express) & Debit Card (Visa Debit & Mastercard Debit). We use eWay as our card payment processor.
  • PayPal - you don't need a PayPal account to do this
  • Direct Deposit into our bank account. Just click on the appropriate link a the bottom of the Order Form and we will email you with our bank details for deposit.

After placing your order, you will receive an email confirmation (you will be asked to advise us of your email address when placing your order) which will list your order number together with your complete order details. Placement of an order by you constitutes an offer from yourself to enter into an agreement with us. We will email you an Order Confirmation for the sole purpose of confirming the details of your offer. Please note that our Order Confirmation does not constitute an acceptance of your offer or reflect the status of your order in any way.

Once we have received your cleared payment, your order will be packed and dispatched as quickly as possible. Orders will not be dispatched until payment in full has been received and SequinsandSand.com.au is satisfied with the integrity of the order. Our agreement with you only comes into existence once we have both confirmed your order and your payment has been processed. This means that the law applicable to any transaction you conduct with us is the applicable law of the state of Queensland, Australia.

You will receive a second and final email notifying you when your order has been packed and dispatched. Included in this email will be your parcel consignment number so that you can track your parcel via www.auspost.com.au/eparcel until it is delivered.

SequinsandSand.com.au is not responsible for any loss or damage caused by late delivery or cancellation of an order or a product.

Your parcel will also contain a Returns Slip so that if you need to return anything you can simply enclose this with your parcel back to us which will help us to process things at our end a bit faster. Please refer to the RETURNS AND EXCHAGES section of these Terms and Conditions. In some instances when time is of the essence, goods may be shipped directly from a supplier's warehouse in which case it will not be lovingly wrapped the Sequins and Sand way. It might not have a Returns Slip in the parcel either.

When you purchase goods and services from SequinsandSand.com.au we may require you to provide your name, address, email address or other details ("customer information"). We may subsequently require further details to enable the processing of any orders that you make. You agree to provide SequinsandSand.com.au with current, complete and accurate customer information when asked to do so by the website or an employee of SequinsandSand.com.au.

ORDER CANCELLATION

By Us: We reserve the right not to provide goods or services, terminate membership accounts, remove or edit content or cancel orders (or part thereof) at our sole discretion at any time. Without limiting the operation of any other Terms of Sale detailed in our Terms and Conditions, we will not be held liable for loss or damage arising from the exercising of these rights.

By You: If you need to cancel an order, please contact us immediately by emailing us at and no later than 1 working day after placing your order. We will then let you know by email, that we have received your request to cancel your order. Agreement with you only comes into existence once we have both confirmed your order and your payment has been processed. Once we have accepted payment for an order, cancellation of the order is within our sole discretion. Orders that cannot be canceled will be subject to our terms, conditions and policies relating to Returns and Exchanges.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Basically there are three ways you can pay for your purchases shopping with Sequins & Sand:

  • Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard & American Express) & Debit Card (Visa Debit & Mastercard Debit) and you don't have to leave the Sequins & Sand website to pay. We use eWay a secure payment gateway provider to do this
  • Direct Deposit (electronic funds transfer)
  • PayPal – pay with your credit card using Paypal (no account required)or using your Paypal account.

Credit Card & Debit Card (on the Sequins & Sand website):

Shop and pay using your card without leaving the Sequins & Sand website. The transactions happen there and then with instant notification of the payment status sent to you.

We accept:

  • Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard and American Express
  • Debit Cards: Mastercard Debit and Visa Debit cards from anywhere in the world.

Direct Deposit:

If you would like to deposit money electronically into our bank account then please select this option when you are at the payment stage of shopping with us. Our system automatically lets us know when your order has been placed and that you have selected this option. We will then email our appropriate bank account details to you.

For international fund transfers, you will need to go into your bank to do this as to the best of our knowledge, online banking facilities do not cater for international transactions at this stage. Australia it is called a Telegraphic Transfer and your bank will charge a fee to organise this. Here in Australia for example, it currently costs us about AUD$30 to send a telegraphic transfer to the US. You will need to find out from your bank how to conduct these funds transfers internationally and what fees are involved.

PayPal:

PayPal allows the transfer of money between email users. It is a system that lets anyone with an email address securely send and receive online payments using their credit card or bank account.

Please note that you do not need to have an account with PayPal to buy online at www.SequinsandSand.com.au.

Credit card details are entered directly into PayPal's systems. These details nor any password you have to use the PayPal system are neither transmitted nor held in the Sequins & Sand systems.

Any further information will only be held with your explicit consent. Details collected allow us to process your order.

Please be aware that, whilst every care will be taken with your confidential information, we are not responsible for and do not provide any assurances for the actions of third parties because we simply can not control them and what they do.

Further details about the PayPal payment system can be reached through the PayPal website.

Once you have finished processing the transaction you will be redirected back to the Sequins & Sand web site. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been received and once payment has been accepted you will receive a Dispatch Notification.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Prices of goods and services, postage and handling fee, and other charges displayed on the SequinsandSand.com.au website are current at the time of display. These prices are subject to change without notice.

There is not likely to be discrepancies with product descriptions and pricing. However, we are unable to warrant that product descriptions or other content of the website is provided accurately, current or error free upon addition to the website.

SHIPPING

Within Australia
If your order is to be shipped to anywhere in Australia and it is more than AUD$150 your shipping will be free! Orders of AUD$250 or more to beyond Australia will also be shipped for free!

Orders within Australia can be sent by either:

  • Standard Mail satchel (goods sent as regular mail to all parts of Australia) or
  • Express Post satchel (goods arrive the next business day, to many parts of Australia)

Standard Post
These flat fees are defined by satchel size:
0-500g = $9
500g and over = $13

Using Standard Mail means that parcels are able to be tracked using on the Australia Post website so we know where they are as they make their journey to you. That number will also be included in the Dispatch Notification we send by email. Please keep a record of this somewhere just encase we need to track it down.

Bris/Syd/Can/Melb = 2-4 days
Ade/Perth/Hob/Dar = 4-10 days

NB:Please note that Standard Post does not include insurance. Should your parcel go missing we will rely on what the Australia Post tracking system advises as its transit is beyond our control. If you parcel is late, we will do everything we can to track it down with Australia Post. Unfortunately, if your parcel goes missing, we will not replace it as we rely on Australia Post to get it to you. We will assist to lodge the missing item with Australia Post and keep you in the loop regarding its status.

Express Post
This service will be the fastest way we can get your order to you. It is supposed to ensure Next Business Day Delivery, however allow 2 days for WA and NT locations and 2-3 days if you are outside the Next Day Delivery Network. You can find out if you are in the Network here.

The fees are defined by satchel size:

0-500g = $11
500g and over = $14.50

Using Express Post means that parcels get there faster, but they are NOT insured. They are however, able to be tracked.

So, in the event that they go missing or are damaged in transit and you still want to receive them, you will need to order and pay for the products again.

Your Express Post number appears on the front of the post bag. That number will also be included in the Dispatch Notification we send by email. Please keep a record of this somewhere.

Please note that Express Post services do not extend to all parts of Australia for an overnight service.

International Orders & Shipping
If you live outside Australia and your order is more than AUD $250 your shipping will be free! It will be sent using Registered International post as a standard, not via international courier which is hugely expensive. If you'd like us to send it via Courier, please contact us to discuss the additional postage payment required to send it express.

Our policy at Sequins & Sand is to only dispatch orders using Australia Post insured postage methods and where practical, tracked. The cost of providing this service has been built into the postage fees as displayed on our website.

Internationally, we offer two shipping options - i)International Registered Post and ii)Express Courier International (ECI).

i)International Registered Post:
We offer a Registered Post facility with the added security and benefit of insurance for all parcels sent and delivery confirmation to most countries, when goods are over 2kg. A signature on delivery will be requested for all items sent with Registered International Post regardless of size. This is to confirm that you have received your order. We will lodge all international delivery confirmation paperwork at out end to facilitate this process.

*Please note that Sequins & Sand cannot accept responsibility for deliveries that have not been signed for.

International Registered Post is able to be tracked by us here in Australia. Unfortunately, there isn't an international tracking system offered by Australia Post for this facility. We will send out the tracking number to you in our dispatch notification email for your records should you need to contact us.

Delivery times are dependent on your location but generally the estimated delivery time for Insured Airmail shipments is about 3-10 working days.

We have standardised our rates as follows to anywhere in the world where this service is offered:

0g-500g = $21
500g–1kg = $28
1kg-1.5kg = $38
1.5kg-2kg = $48
2kg-2.5kg = $53
2.5kg-5kg = $58

ii) Express Courier International (ECI):
ECI is an international courier service operated via Australia Post. It provides a door to door delivery of goods to over 200 countries usually within 2-4 working days to metropolitan areas of major cities. It offers full tracking and signature on delivery.

You can track your parcel's progress anytime at www.auspost.com.au/internationalpost/products/eci The dispatch notification we send by email to you will have the consignment number to use to do this.

As required, we will supply our delivery company with your address and name to complete the delivery process.

Please be aware that, whilst every care will be taken with your confidential information, we are not responsible for and do not provide any assurances for the actions of third parties because we simply can not control them and what they do.

We have standardised our rates as follows to anywhere in the world where this service is offered:

500g–1kg = $54
1kg-2kg = $65
2kg-3kg = $81
3kg-5kg = $108

Important Customs Notice
Customs/Duty For Orders Outside Australia:
If you are making a purchase at Sequins & Sand from outside Australia, some countries have import duty and other taxes on goods entering their country.
The amount you are allowed to import varies from country to country and you are responsible for all charges that may be applied to allow your goods to leave customs. Unfortunately Sequins & Sand is not able to estimate what these charges might be.

For our customers living outside Australia, choosing the Insured Airmail or the Express Courier International shipping option enables us to deduct the GST (goods and services tax) component off our recommended retail price. This may change going forward, but where we can practicably do this, we will make every endeavour to do so.

This does not account for duties and customs taxes that you may have to pay. These are very country specific and we can not take responsibility for paying these taxes - that responsibility rests with you. Please enquire at your local customs office to find out what you may have to pay before or upon taking receipt your purchased goods.

Important Information About Deliveries
We have provided you with an estimated date for delivery of all goods (listed above for each shipping option). While we make every effort to deliver by this time, all dates specified are estimates only.

We will not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from late delivery. You acknowledge and agree that late delivery does not constitute a breach by us of our agreement and does not entitle you to cancel an order.

Please note that if an item has been lost in transit, we will not dispatch a replacement item immediately. Replacement items will only be dispatched at our discretion.

We will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place

Incorrect Addresses:
It is your obligation to enter the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering. Should you enter the wrong address, we are not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our expense.

Parcel Does Not Arrive:
It is your responsibility to inform Sequins & Sand if an order does not arrive. Please do so by sending an email to . Once we learn an order has not arrived by within reason by the due date, we will lodge enquiries with the delivery company to try and determine where the parcel is. We will not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from late delivery or parcels not arriving.

Please note that if an item has been lost in transit, we will not dispatch a replacement item immediately. Replacement items will be dispatched according to our discretion.

Late Delivery:
Without limiting the operation of any other Terms and Conditions herein, we will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from a late delivery, you agree that a late delivery does not constitute a failure of our agreement, and does not entitle you to cancellation of an order.

Loss or Damage After Delivery:
Without limiting the operation of any other Terms and Conditions herein, we will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

At Sequins & Sand want to make sure you love your purchase (and love us) so we are happy to exchange or refund any goods because you have changed your mind, are unhappy with them or they are damaged.

CHANGE OF MIND OR NOT HAPPY:
If you change your mind and we have not yet dispatched the order then we will be happy to cancel it so you need to be quick! Email us at immediately within 2 working days after placing your order to try and make sure we catch it in time. Any charges we may have incurred will be deducted from any money that you have paid.

If you change your mind and we have already dispatched your order, return goods by posting them to us via registered or trackable post and please retain the appropriate proof of return. Otherwise, if the returned goods go missing in transit to us, we will deem you not to have returned them. You need to ensure that the goods are adequately packaged to help prevent damage during return transit.

All returned products must be:
*unused, unopened (if the product has a hygienic seal such as beauty products) and in original condition;
*undamaged;
*returned within 30 days of delivery (proof of delivery date will be required); and
*in a saleable condition.

By all means, try things on but just don't wear them out if you plan on returning them. If we think that items have been worn or used, then we reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange.

Please note that by law, we are not able to accept any cosmetic items where the seal has been broken.

All swimwear must be tried on with underwear (pants) on and returned with the protective shield lining in place. If we think there is evidence that this has been removed, we will not accept the return and will not refund.

WRONG SIZE AND YOU NEED A DIFFERENT SIZE:
We really want to make sure you look fantastic and getting the right size can be challenging when purchasing on-line.
If you try and item on and it's not the right size and you'd like to exchange it for another size, that's fine. Just use our Reply Paid facility and we will pay for the postage back to us.

Please Note: We are more than happy to exchange Clearance items for another size (if we have it in stock), but unfortunately, we are unable to offer Refunds on Clearance items or as individually marked items.

Other conditions as stated above for all Change of Mind Returns apply.

In the event of a return by you or the recipient of a gift, we will exchange or refund in however, you will need to pay the postage and handling fee of the return to Sequins & Sand and re-delivery to you. We will not refund any other relevant fees associated with the exchange.

DEFECTIVE or DAMAGED GOODS

We ask that you notify us within 7 days of receipt of your goods that they are damaged. Please do this via email to . You must return defective or damaged goods within 30 days of purchase. If you receive defective or damaged goods, we will refund the original price of the goods and delivery fee by way of the original method of payment.

Alternatively, if you request a replacement, we will dispatch your replacement goods (subject to availability) once we receive the defective or damaged goods, at our cost. Please email us at with your preferred method of replacement and details relating to where it should be posted to and to whom.

If, more than 30 days after receipt, goods are found to be defective or damaged, normal warranty conditions for those goods will apply. In those circumstances, it is your/recipient's responsibility to incur all costs and to follow warranty instructions as stated on the product warranty card as specified by the manufacturer. Any products returned after this time will be refunded or exchanged at our discretion.

Please ensure you keep a record of when you posted the goods back to until you know that we have received the goods. We will email you and let you know when we do.

INCORRECT ORDER

If we have inadvertently not sent what you have paid for in your order then we will correct the error at our cost. We will contact you by email to sort out the details should this occur.

CANCELLING ORDERS

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us immediately by emailing us at thegirls@sequinsandsand.com.a and no later than 2 working days after placing your order. We will then let you know by email, that we have received your request to cancel your order.
Agreement with you only comes into existence once we have both confirmed your order and your payment has been processed. Once we have accepted payment for an order, cancellation of the order is within our sole discretion. Any costs we incur as a result of the cancellation will be deducted from any refunds we make. These will be fully disclosed to you in a confirmation email. Orders that cannot be canceled will be subject to our terms, conditions and policies relating to Returns and Exchanges.

We reserve the right to cancel orders at our sole discretion at any time. In those circumstances, we will not be held liable for any loss or damage incurred by you arising out of in connection with the exercise of these rights.

PROMOTIONS and COMPETITIONS

Other Terms and Conditions not listed herein and applying to SequinsandSand.com.au promotions and competitions are incorporated into these terms and conditions.

Should you object to any of these Terms and Conditions (including any subsequent amendments) you must immediately discontinue using this website.

LINKS and THRID PART REPRESENTATIONS

Sequins & Sand makes no representations or warranties about any other website which you may access through this Site ("Other Website"). When you access an Other Website, that Other Website is independent from this Site, and Sequins & Sand has no control over the content on that Other Website. Any link to an Other Website is provided as a convenience to users of this Site.
