Evie Foster's entry into the world of fashion started as a plus sized model when she was 35 years old. Represented by Vivien's Model Management, she was a sought after model for runway, editorial and commercial clients. She then went on to teach mature and plus size women, not only about modelling but she helped many to find themselves again - something she is most proud of doing.
Her career started in Administration and she has done everything from working as a clerk in the Royal Australian Air Force to creating and owning her own plus size fashion label. Due to unforeseen circumstances, in 2012, she made the difficult but necessary decision to put 'Evie Foster', the label on hold and I Am Evie Foster was created as a natural progression, bringing all of her skills and experience together under one roof.
She has worked in the plus industry in one way or another - she even created a magazine and was fortunate enough to personally, go to Chicago and interview Chris Gardner from The Pursuit of Happyness and wrote the feature article on him herself - a very surreal and proud moment for Evie. Evie is now focusing her passion into mature women and has created a beautiful platform for 50+ women called, Grayce Darling. Evie has always been an advocate for the empowerment of women
and helping them to see their full potential. She is a giver and a nurturer by nature and loves to know that she has made a
difference. When she is given choices, she will often take the road less travelled. Some call it crazy, some know how courageous she is.
