A 'Go To' Bold and Feel Good Kaftan Dress for Lunch or Poolside

"This dress is a statement ladies but it totally made me feel super confident and it will be on high rotation in my wardrobe as a 'go to' dress over the summer." Jen from Styling Curvy.

I've fallen hard for a tangerine full moon.

Wow, the team from Jam Jam hit the nail on the head with this kaftan dress. The bold print, batwing sleeves and stunning colour have got me hooked, Sequins and Sand gifted me this dress in 'Tangerine' and now I totally need (yes NEED) it in the navy.
There's alot of material in this kaftan dress but it works, it's got a beautiful weight...no flyaway flashes of knickers and the hemline is slightly curved to create a softer silhouette so it doesn't swamp you. I love how the hem sits just a teeny tiny bit above my knees so feels perfect as a summer dress.

I added a wedge to give me a longer leg line and dress it up for lunch with the girls but try adding some pretty silver sandals and you are good to go for coffee and shopping or wear it poolside as a cover up. Keep accessories to a minimum and let the print and colour do all the hard work for you, I love clothing that does that and it means I can throw it on and not have a meltdown about what to wear.

I'm an 18 and this dress still had some wiggle room, there are side seams with a ruffled edge which gives you some shape and enhances your silhouette. The scoop neckline can be reigned in a little with the beaded ties (which made it more of a V on me) or add a statement necklace in a bold contrast colour to change the scoop to a v neckline.

This dress is a statement ladies but it totally made me feel super confident and it will be on high rotation in my wardrobe as a 'go to' dress over the summer.

Til next time
